Based in Los Angeles, currently residing gratefully on Tongva Gabrielino land, Anna is interested in using performance as a tool for healing, community-building, and decolonizing, and works particularly with queer and trans communities.

They offer workshops, collaborate on academic and artistic projects that decenter whiteness and engage healing and empowerment as necessarily anti-racist practices toward  liberation of QTI+BIPoC folx.

Anna is pursuing a drama therapy certification and holds a doctorate in drama and theatre from UCI and UCSD where they completed their dissertation, Performing Possibilities: Trans-Healing in Activist Performance. They received their MFA in Playwriting from Boston University.

They are co-creator and collaborator on Crossing Pride: a transnational trauma-informed healing storytelling project and archive by/ for/ with queer and trans refugees.
